consists of a split tee, a rubber-faced wedge and a bonnet
which stores a spindle for vertically moving the wedge.
The wedge is inserted into a cut hole made in the pipe

STOPPER INSTALLATION
|
 |
|
Set the three-piece
sleeve onto the pipeline and tighten the bolts and nuts.
Fit the tapping valve and the tapping machine. |
|

|
Cut a hole,
retract the cutter and close the tapping valve.
Remove the tapping machine. |
|
 |
|
| Fit the inserting
tool in which the rubber-faced wedge and the bonnet are
set. |
|
 |
|
Push the bonnet
down to the sleeve flange and bolt the bonnet tightening.
Remove the inserting tool and the tapping valve and fit
the spindle cap. |
|
