“OT-CATCHER”is a Retainer Split Ring developed by cooperation with OSAKA MUNICIPAL WATERWORKS SERVICE ASSOCIATION for the purpose of preventing pulling out of pipe joint which was counted as one of the major disasters among the pipe line damages in Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake in 1995. If you apply this retainer split ring to the joint part of Mechanical Joint and Push on type Joint, it prevents pulling out of the pipe joint so that it becomes a counter method to decrease damages against movement of earth ground by earthquake. Also applying "OT-CATCHER" to gas and sewage pipeline for small size pipeline (diameter 75-250mm) is effective. 　FEATURES ● Speedy installation with a single spanner wrench ● Joint part is bendable after installation up to allowable angle ● Installed wedges display high performance (0.33-0.22 dTonf for mechanical joint type) to prevent pulling out of pipe joint, and reinforces joint part of pipe.
